about
I am a visual artist who uses a variety of media (predominantly textiles and book arts) to explore the complicated relationships between history, landscape, and identity. Rhythm, mark-making, and color play important formal roles in my compositions which often draw from historical artifacts and traditional art forms. My work is rooted in research which at the moment is focused on Neolithic monuments' role in society. I am very interested in fictional landscapes and social archeology's explorations into the experience of landscape.

I received my BFA in Painting with a concentration in Curatorial Studies from Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland in 2017, and I have recently finished an MA in Fine Art at the University of Leeds. I have participated in group shows such as Artists for Truth exhibition at SpaceCamp Gallery in Baltimore, the MA & Other Postgraduates 2019 exhibition at Atkinson Gallery in Southport, England, and Becoming After at the University of Leeds also in 2019.
